I collect and disassemble broken inkjet printers, and am fascinated by the disposable nature of the home office printer.

I label each part and organize them by function, then coat them in black ink, print, and scan each part.

I use the scans to create a render using Adobe Illustrator, which allows me to isolate each layer.

Each part is registered and printed individually due to discrepancies in height and rotation.
