This community engagement arts project asks New Yorkers to search geo-tagged images on their phone or social media feed of things they wish to protect from corporate interests.
Using smartphones as lightboxes, participants traced over these peoples, places, and memories as acts of preservation.
Places in Struggle was created in collaboration with 350.org. This project has travelled to cities across New York State, including: New York City, New Paltz, Elmira, and Oneonta.
